Above: My Clansman PRC 352 VHF radio in a used and battered condition.

Brings back the memories from my time served in the Royal Signals.

The radio above and others in the range from the PRC 351 upwards are capable of 4 and 6 meter operation on fm mode. The main problem is that clansman radios emit a 150mhz recognition tone. This tone is cancelled out between 2 or more clansman radios but should another radio be used then it will be woefully present. on some bigger clansman radios I belieive you can turn the tone off.
