Above: My latest project a Tri-band moxon for 20, 17, and 10 meters. This antenna is very good on tx and rx and compared to the Tgm Mq26 mini beam there really is no comparison. I have replaced it for for the moment as I am thinking of making a hex beam and have put the mini beam back up for now.

Above Sandpiper Moxon Tri-bander for 2,4,and 6 meters.

a very good antenna worked abroad on 6 with this antenna lots of times

I bought this antenna after making a homebrew moxon for 6 meters. It is a very capable antenna for the money.  Although, I must admit mine worked better on the magic 6m band. This was no doubt due to it being a monoband antenna. ( No interaction between bands )

Above Sandpiper MV10 Covers 160 - 6m.

Very compact antenna and works very good for its size. Only 14ft from top to bottom.

This has to be a very underated antenna for its size. The above picture shows it up at about 30ft but to be honest I did not detect much difference from when it was 2 inch above ground level. If I had attached ground planes to the antenna I have no doubt it would have peformed very much better. The receive side was improved though for obvious reasons.

Above MQ26 HF minibeam. also 4 meter Sirio vertical above beam, with Watson W50 on the left. Also folded dipole for 2m below beam.

The MQ26 has been modified by the previous owner a good friend of mine. This modification saw the removing of the diamond shaped reflector and extending the elements from 8ft 11in to 14ft 8in or thereabouts. I believe one turn was removed from the coils as well. The downside is that 6 meters is now not acheivable. The 4m Sirio is now sited in a different position and has been replaced by the moxon tri-bander.
